DAY 3
CRACKED CISTERNS

"For My people have done two evil things:
They have forsaken Me --- the fountain of Living Water.
And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns
that can hold no water at all."
Jeremiah 2:13

Today there is much sorrow to report God's Judgment
and yet, I know that He is fair and just
and all that we put before Him
and especially, all that we use in substitute of Him
will be removed

I know a young couple
who have dated off and on for a few years
They have known each other since they were young teens
I have given both of them prophetic words over the years
but each of them believed
that they knew better than the words
and sought to form their own plans
despite what God said

They are together now, but God will pull them apart
As a couple, they are the weakest that they could be
They cease to keep themselves pure before God
because they have attained what they wanted
They draw each other lower still
and yet, I will not warn them
I already have

God will do His work
He will separate them
and prayerfully, through the separation
they will realize God's Call on their lives
and return to His Ways

It has been this way all through these 12 years
which I have given God's Words to people
They read; they turn away
they devise their own plans
and they slide daily into a depth of disobedience
and eventually, Hell, if they don't repent

God told me to read Ezekiel 26
which describes the ruin of the city, Tyre

THIS IS ALSO
HOW THE PEOPLE WILL BE RUINED, DESTROYED
THEY WILL BE SURROUNDED BY THE EVIL THEY EMBRACE
THEY WILL BE CAPTURED BY THEIR VAIN IMAGINATIONS
AND SWEPT UNDER BY MY WAVES OF TORMENT

IF THEY WILL NOT FOLLOW ME
NOR MY WORD
THEY ARE NOT OF ME
AND WILL NOT BE PROTECTED
THEY ARE LIKE CITIES WHICH WILL EVENTUALLY
HAVE NO INHABITANTS,
BUT THE DEMONS THEY EMBRACE

IT'S THEIR CHOICE
NO ONE CAN CHOOSE FOR THEM
BUT EACH TIME THEY ARE CONFRONTED WITH THE TRUTH
AND THEY REFUSE
THEN THEIR HEARTS ARE HARDENED EVEN MORE
TO THE TRUTH
AND EVENTUALLY, IT BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE
FOR THEM TO REPENT
LIKE THIS MAN
