I NEED YOUR TOUCH, GOD!

The Vision
opens
before my eyes
I'm standing
before Jesus' Throne
I am surrounded
by the
many gifts
I have brought
to present to my King
to Jesus
They are finely
wrapped presents
I feel so small
in comparison
to all of them
I look at Jesus' Face
to see if He is pleased
With
HIS SMILE
He beckons for me
to come forward
I approach Him
and
climb up upon His Lap
as a
small child

"YOU KNOW
IT'S NOT THE GIFTS THAT I WANT
IT IS YOU!"

I press myself
closer to Him
knowing
that
I am
Loved
and
Valued!

I remember the times
when He has bestowed Gifts
upon me in Visions
He would place them before me
Sometimes
even Treasure Chests full!
But, I would glance at them
with little interest
and walk past them
into His Arms

I didn't want the Gifts
I
only
wanted
His Love
His Touch upon me!
But now, I know
He feels the same way
He doesn't need or want my gifts

HE
WANTS
MY LOVE
AND
MY TOUCH
UPON
HIM!!!

may I forever
touch You
through my Worship
through my Praise
through my obedience
through my glance toward You!!!
I love You
my
Friend
my
King!

I need Your TOUCH!

Yes, I have been
touched by others
and
I have been
hugged
and
I have been
wrapped in arms
but
I have nothing
to compare
Your TOUCH with!
Your TOUCH
goes to the very depth
of my being
and
assures me
that I am
Loved
that I am
Valuable
that I am
Yours!

Let me
forever
feel your
TOUCH
Your
PRESENCE
upon me!

I know
I must
appear strange
to others
I appear
unsteady
in my walk
often times distant
as if, my mind
is elsewhere
but I'm in Your
PRESENCE
and part of me remains
upon
Your Lap
wrapped
in Your Arms
and
I feel
LOVED
FINALLY
UNEQUIVOCALLY LOVED!!!
